Why Are You Waiting ~ Sunday Devotional
“Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’” Acts 22:14-16 (NKJV)
What has God called you to do?
Do you have a personal relationship with Him? I guess that’s the first question I need to ask. Because if not, why are you waiting?
He wants nothing more than to be Lord of your life and have a personal relationship with you.
If you do have, then what has He put on your heart?
What talents has He gifted you with?
Where has He placed you?
Who has He put in your life?
How are you loving Him and others?
Are you doing the thing He’s designed you for?
Are you using your gifts and talents?
Are you loving and serving those in your circle of influence?
If not, why are you waiting?
Now is the time. Now is your time to do what God has called you to do.
First of all, He wants us all to know Him in a personal relationship. That is the most important action you can ever take. But once you’ve done that, you have things to do.
He created you for a plan and with a purpose.
You are special. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made.
You have a calling. Go do it!
