In It Together ~ Sunday Devotion
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20 (NKJV)
Bring them together, and the Lord will be there.
When I started my Faith and Fitness Support and Accountability Community, I trusted that the Lord would be in our midst if we did it in His name. And He has been faithful to show up among us. The community is made up of women from here to California. We gather on zoom every week. We always sense the Lord’s presence among us as we discuss God’s Word as well as how we’re doing with our health.
I’ve always needed my alone time. I enjoy my one-on-one time with the Lord. And I know He’s with me in those quiet moments. But eventually I learned how important it is to connect with other women. And when we put aside differences and let go of comparison, the Lord shows up. He wants us to know that we are in it together. Facing the changing seasons that we all go through. Doing our best to live a healthy life so that we can fulfill God’s purpose for each of us.
Don't travel alone. We're in it together. Share on X
In this verse in Matthew, we read that He is with us when we gather together in His name. The way the world is now, there are no excuses for us to travel our journeys alone. We can meet in person, but we can also meet via technology. He provides ways for us to gather in His name if we’ll take advantage of them.
Action Step: When we gather with other women and invite the Lord into that mix, amazing things can happen. Don’t miss out on that. Connect with a small group of women this week to experience the Lord in a special way.
