I will talk to others all day long about your justice and your goodness. Psalm 71:24a (TLB)

I don’t know about you, but when I find a great product, I like to tell people about it. If I’ve found something that I love or that’s been helpful to me, I want to share it.  

I enjoy reading “favorites” posts. I’m curious about the things people can’t live without and why that’s the case.  

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to groups of women who have used my devotionals as part of their small group studies. There’s nothing I enjoy more than speaking with women about the journey to freedom that God has taken me on and how He can do that for them as well.  

The transformation story everyone needs to hear is not about body change but what God has done in your life and mine. Share on X

In today’s passage, the Psalmist declares that he will tell others about God’s goodness. Not only will he tell them of God’s goodness but he’ll also talk about it all day long. It’s his favorite thing to do. It’s the topic he loves speaking about the most. 

No matter the translation you read, you learn that the author of this chapter will talk to anyone who will listen about what God has done in his life.  

The note in my study Bible calls this, “A senior citizen’s prayer.” That makes me chuckle. Even though I’m not quite there yet, I get the point that God has done amazing things in my life, and I want to share it. Just like the psalmist, I’m driven to share it. 

I believe He’s done some great things in your life, too. We must tell others what God has done for us because He is ready and willing to do those things for them, too. 

Action Step: We all have a before and after story of living life without God and then one with Him. That’s the transformation story that everyone needs to hear.
