I Will Tell Others ~ Sunday Devotional

I don’t know about you, but when I find a great product, I like to tell people about it.  If I’ve found something that I love or that’s been helpful to me, I want to share it.

I enjoy reading “favorites” posts, or posts titled “Loving Lately.”  I’m curious about the things people can’t live without and why that’s the case.

Last Tuesday evening, I had the pleasure of working out and chatting with a group of women who is using 40 Days of Faith and Fitness for their weekly discussion time.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than speaking with women about the journey to freedom that God has taken me on and how He can do that for them as well.

The Living Bible translation of Psalm 71:24 is this:  “I will talk to others all day long about your justice and your goodness.”  The full verse in the NIV translation is: “My tongue will tell of your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion.”

No matter the translation you read, you learn that the author of this chapter will talk to anyone who will listen about what God has done in his life.

The note in my Bible calls this “A senior citizen’s prayer.” Lol!  Okay, I’m not quite there yet, but the point is that God has done amazing things in my life, and I want to share it.  I’m driven to share it.

I believe He’s done some great things in your life too.

We need to share what God has done, because He is ready and willing to do those things for others as well.

Just like I love to tell people about my Kitlife planner or my evening tea, a couple things I can’t go a day without, so we must tell others how God can make a difference in their lives.

We all have a before and after story of life without God and then one with Him.  That’s the transformation story that everyone needs to hear.

Happy Sunday!

Take some time to read the entire chapter of Psalm 71 today.  As you read the author’s declaration of God’s presence in his life, consider all that God has done for you too.

Stay tuned each Sunday for a new devotional to post.
