Marsha Apsley is One Year Old: Celebrating my Blog Anniversary!

It’s a new week and a new month AND the anniversary month of my website, blogging, and coaching.  Last year I expanded into one-on-one and group coaching.  I started writing and sharing more, and here we are one year and several blog posts later!

Thank You

If you read no farther today, I want you to hear me say “Thank You!”  Thank You for being here, for reading, commenting, and following.  I am humbled that I might have something to say that people want to read and find helpful.

My Blog

Last year  I set a schedule to blog on Mondays and Thursdays and I’m continuing that.  For the most part, Monday’s topic remains faith-based.  This is when I share what God is showing me and how He’s been growing me.  Because fitness is how He has spoken to me and grown me over the years, a lot of the time it is how faith and fitness overlap in my life.  Monday’s blog is often reflections that I had during a weekend run or ride.  It’s sometimes a race recap.  I just pray for His direction on what to share.  You can be sure that I continue to share my heart with you.

On Thursdays, my blog posts focus on health and fitness.  It may be a new recipe.  It may be a workout.  It may be some sort of tip.  I try to help you find balance in your life when it comes to health and fitness.

To let you know a new blog is posted, I always give a snippet on social media so you’ll head over to my website and check out the full blog.  You can be sure that my priority through this blog is always to direct you to your Creator.  My goal is that you honor your body as the temple that it is.

My Website

This site itself has changed over the year.  I switched to a hosted site that I’m still trying to learn all the ins and outs of.  I was not able to transfer all of my blog posts when I did the change, but there are still several you can browse.  Technology is not necessarily my strength.  But I try to do my best so that when you stop by you can find your way around easily.

My Coaching

While I started this journey in April 2015 as a Beachbody Coach it has evolved into so much more.  I no longer do challenge groups based on Beachbody programs or products.    I began a one-on-one coaching program last year that takes you through 21 days of devotions from Lysa TerKeurst’s Made to Crave, daily emails and check ins, and consultations to develop a plan that is right for you.  I also do group coaching via private facebook group.  This has become very popular and the gals are finding great success finding their individual fit while supporting each other and holding one another accountable.  I love coaching and connecting with women!

My Journey

I’ve been on this journey a long time.  I’ve had many struggles.  I’ve cried many tears.  I’ve learned so many lessons.  I’m now answering the call to share it with you in hopes that I can help you “turn north” just as I finally did.  In Deuteronomy God told Moses it was time to turn north after 40 years of wilderness wandering.  I wander no longer in that desert of comparison and competition, of gimmicks and quick fixes, because I found freedom and learned to focus on the unique path He has for my life including my health and fitness.

You also can turn north and find freedom from the daily struggle.  That is what this space and my coaching is all about.

Can't wait to see what the next year brings for the blog. Hope you stick around to find out! Click To Tweet
