Jesus Knew. Do You? ~ Sunday Devotion
Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God. John 13:3 (NLT)
Jesus knew who He was, and He wants you to know who you are too. How do you do that? Believe God’s Word. Receive His love for you.
Jesus knew He came from the Father. He was made in His image, just as you and I were made in the image of God. Jesus knew He was placed on this earth for a purpose. He came to give us abundant life. Jesus was not prideful. He was simply confident in who He was and what His purpose was. He obeyed His Father and followed the plan God created for Him.
I talk to too many women, I used to be one, who lack confidence. The most common reason for this lack of confidence is our looks. Women feel unattractive based on body size. But confidence has nothing to do with looks. You are more than a number. Your weight doesn’t define you. Confidence is an inside job. Confidence, or lack thereof, is a result of owning who we are and who God made us to be.

Don’t blame your lack of confidence on your body size. And don’t base your confidence on your looks either. Your body will change, but your confidence can remain steady when it’s rooted in Christ.
Action Step: God created you for a purpose. Are you confidently living the life He designed for you to live? He has blessed you with unique gifts and talents. Are you using them?
Jesus knew who He was and what His purpose was, and you can know who you are and what your purpose is, too! So, no matter your age or stage of life, embrace it and start confidently living it!
Happy Sunday!
