Glory to God ~ Sunday Devotion
He said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, and you will bring me glory.” Isaiah 49:3 (NLT)
We serve a big God, a God who can take care of this entire world…all on His own. He really doesn’t need you or me for anything. But, He chooses you and me.
God chose you. He chose you when He sent His Son to die for you. And He continues to choose you and wishes to include you in His plan for the world.
As servants of God, you and I can bring Him glory. It is through our lives, through you and me, that He wants to work.
You and I are called to live lives that will bring glory to God our Father. How amazing is it that the God of the Universe would incorporate us into His master plan!
God doesn't need you and me to accomplish anything in this world, yet He chooses to use us. Will we allow Him to? Share on X
Action Step: Is your life bringing glory to God? Consider the following questions:
- When you go through your daily routine, can others see Jesus in you?
- What or who are you living for?
- What or who are you pointing others to?
Let’s sit with these questions today and take inventory of our lives, what they are standing for and who they are pointing to.
The world needs Jesus. Will you be that person who displays His love? Will I?
I’m praying that we will step into the role of God’s servant and answer the call to glorify Him.
Happy Sunday!
