Time for Review – 4th Quarter 2022
We’ve come to the end of the fourth quarter of 2022. I’ve been doing these recaps for a few years now by giving you a glimpse into my Kitlife Planner. That’s the place where I keep track of everything. In fact, it even has a quarterly check-in spot.
The main parts of my Kitlife Daily are…
- The Big 3 – This helps me prioritize. What three things must I get done today?
- Self-Care – This is a daily practice. Self-care is so much more than a spa day. It’s little things done daily that fill my cup.
- Gratitude – I write down three things each day that I’m grateful for. Some days they are big things but many days they’re the simple things.
- Activity – Place to track regular exercise.
- Meal Plan – Sometimes this serves as an area for me to note what I eat throughout the day, other times it’s what I plan for dinner.
There’s also plenty of space for notes or journaling. I often jot down my social media posting schedule here as well as notes from my Bible study or a quote I want to remember.

I’ve been using a Kitlife Planner since 2018. It’s the best planner ever! In fact, I now have a discount code to share with you. Simply put “Marsha” in the coupon code location and get $5 off your purchase of any planner. (2023 planners are now available!)
So how did October, November, and December go?

Activity
I got some heavier dumbbells for my birthday, so I’ve been using them regularly.
Yoga is a staple every morning to wake up my body and my mind.
Given the changing weather, I did a little less cycling and a little more running the last quarter of the year.
I ran the Santa Hustle 5K in December. This was my first race since turning 50, and I was happy with the results on a very cold Sunday morning.
How I used meal plan section
I sporadically jotted down what I ate in this section. It helps me stay mindful. In December, I used it more for meal planning, so I could keep up with dinner plans as our calendar got a little busier with holiday gatherings.

What’s next?
Publish new devotional – Stay tuned for the release of “A Walk Through the Psalms: 50 Days of Faith and Fitness” in the Spring of 2023.
Change Faith and Fitness Membership Community to Faith and Fitness Support and Accountability Community. All that changes is the name, but it better describes what it is. This is a community where you will find encouragement, support, and motivation to honor God by honoring your unique body. You’ll implement the Faith and Fitness Framework™ so that you can live fit and free.
Word for 2023 – Confidence. I spent many of my younger years and well into my adult life trying to build my confidence by manipulating my body. Once God set me free from those worries and insecurities, my confidence increased because I placed it in Christ instead of in myself. As a result, I am a confident woman. I can experience peace, freedom, and assurance of who I am in Christ. It’s my word this year because I believe God wants me to not only confidently follow Him and live confidently the life He’s calling me to this year but also to help women build their confidence in Christ. My key verse: Jeremiah 17:7 (NIV) – “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.” Other verses I will be clinging to: Isaiah 30:15, Ephesians 3:12, Hebrews 10:35.
Cheers to 2023!
