Jesus is Calling. Will You Come Out? ~ Sunday Devotion
When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” John 11:43 (NIV)
Do you think Lazarus hesitated when He heard Jesus call to him? I can’t imagine any scenario that he’d not come running out. If I were wrapped up in a dark cave, and Jesus called me out, I’d go running. And yet, I was trapped in a cave of my own making for years, and Jesus was calling to me to come out of it, but I didn’t. I stayed wrapped in my insecurities. I wasn’t living the life God had designed for me to live. Instead of coming out of that darkness, I was missing out.
Jesus is calling. Will you come out? He wants to set you free to live the life He's designed for you. Share on XWhat has you wrapped up? Is there an area of your life that feels lifeless? Jesus is calling you out of your darkness. He can set you free. He did it for me, and He can do it for you, too!
Action Step: Jesus is calling. Will you come out? Let Him breathe life into you today. Take that step and walk into the light. Let Him set you free so that you can live the life He’s designed for you to live. Today is your day!
